We chose the beach house and it was a great location upon arrival there wasn't any electricity on in the house so we turned on all breakers so I don't know how y'all prepped our house for us the fridge was absolutely disgusting where we couldn't even keep any food in it due to the smell we cleaned it with cleaner and still couldn't use due to the odor we shouldn't have to clean upon arrival on our vacation the ac never worked and the hot water tank didn't work at all I called about 1 pm to tell them and they said someone will be out to look at it. No one never came I called after hours number and left a message and still didn't get a call back. So we slept in a house with no ac and it was really hot and uncomfortable. The next morning still no word from y'all so I called again and finally some one came out about 11 and said the wiring was bad so y'all gave 2 options for another place and it wasn't even equal value to what we paid for in the first place we wanted a house like what we had first. With y'all knowing it too k a day from our vacation waiting around on all of this y'all wouldn't compensate for it. All we asked was to have an extra day instead of leaving on Tuesday we asked to leave on wed which is reasonable since it was y'all fault things weren't checked upon our arrival. When that wasn't approved we asked for compensation for the day we lost and nope that wasn't approved either. We drove all the way from Oklahoma and atll could care less if it ruined our vacation. I will never stay with y'all again and y'all need better communication among y'all self and should compensate guests for major problems due to y'all fault and won't use Airbnb because of this.

5 stars for ease to the beach. 1 star for cleanliness. House smelled, mold in bathroom, stains on linens, stains and grime on furniture, broken blinds. Don’t know how this house is still on Airbnb. We left early after we couldn’t handle the filth. We bought cleaning products of our own. Police showed up knocking early in the morning looking for someone. Police stuck around and came back a couple hours later.

Right on front beach road!!! So close to the beach it was great! No dishwasher even though it told us to load our dishes into the dishwasher when we left but we just hand washed them and it was fine! We had a great stay

If your only concern is proximity to the beach, this is perfect! You are literally steps away from the Gulf via public access. However, the joys end there. The property IS NOT as described in the listing. We notified our host of concerns immediately upon finding problems; they were not addressed. The very loud busy restaurant next door does not have enough parking, so I was blocked in and out more than once during my stay. The house is dirty!!! Urine stains were on the bathroom floor and the back of the door. Dirt on the window sills looks like it has never been cleaned. Our towels and bed linens were stained. The window blinds are missing/broken/falling down. A previous guest left clothes in the dressers. There was standing water in the dryer drum so we couldn't use it. The washing machine and fridge stank so bad we couldn't store food in the fridge or wash clothes. Two of us working together couldn't get the front door closed. The cute little seating area out front that's highlighted in the listing is not even there! We thought we were at the wrong house when we arrived because it looks COMPLETELY different from the photos. If you're looking for a party house on the strip, here you go. It's perfect for that. But this listing is advertised as "family-friendly," which is what I needed for a nearly TWO WEEK STAY. I was trapped here and ignored by the host!!! This host's listing is full of inaccuracies!
1. Seating area outside is gone
2. Entire house smells so bad
3. THERE'S NO DISHWASHER as promised in listing
4. The washing machine is unusable (unless you want to smell like this house)
5. Dryer has standing water in tub
6. Coffee maker had no coffee pot (it was replaced on my 5th day of my stay)
7. Stove eyes are unusable and falling in (they were repaired on my 5th day)
8. Pee/puke/fluid stains on door and bathroom floor
9. Window blinds are falling down/missing/broken
10. Front door doesn't close
11. Old stained towels, sheets, pillows, comforters

The location is the selling point to this properties rental. It is nearly directly across from the public beach access and the “less” busy part of the beach. Also, very convenient to many restaurants and attractions. Minutes to Pier Park as well. With all those positives, there negatives as well. The home is dated and has many maintenance issues that could be fixed to improve the quality of stay.

Literally right across the street from the beach! Shops and restaurants within walking distance! There isn’t cable so if you have young kids they may complain but hopefully they’ll be too tired not to care! Lol!! Bring supplies to wash clothes, take out the trash, and wash dishes. This quaint little beach house has seen a lot of life. Not a showplace but functional to be sure. The close proximity to beach access is worth the price, but be prepared an old school feel in kitchen and bath. Front Beach Street doubles as the summertime cruise, which makes the visit both entertaining and a bit noisy. Exterior, grounds, fencing had quite a bit of work in progress but interior decor has been updated. AC and appliances worked reliably.

Location is amazing, really can’t beat it. We had a 2 year old with us so being able to have easy access to the beach and the backyard was nice. However, the place wasn’t the cleanest or nicest and we did encounter a really bad ant infestation in the front sun room. Possibly due to the previous guests leaving food on the ground outside the front door ... despite the place not being the nicest or cleanliest, the location was unmatched.

The house was fine. It looks some time to get the receipts correct. I had to call and walk into the the office 3 times to get everything correct. Too many people telling me they couldn't help and what I requested couldn't be done. However when I originally inquired about my stipulations before renting. I was assured it was possible. This was extremely frustrating. The house was in decent condition, however the doors dont really lock. The bathroom sink is falling off the wall and there are several cats living in the walls and ceiling. You can hear them while sleeping. The house needs attention... With that being said, it's in a great location, right across from the beach.

Located directly across from beach access, not around hotels, walking distance to food and shops, furnished, and deposit was returned in a timely manner. Great price for a good location. I would recommend staying here.

Very nice place to stay! It was perfect for my family and close enough to the beach, it worked out great! It felt like a home away from home!
