We enjoyed our stay at Miramar Beach. A few items needed immediate attention (light not working in the hallway, refrigerator not working, faucet knob in bathroom off). LSI responded quickly and sent contractor to take care of issues. This condo studio needs a complete overhaul and has the potential to be a jewel! The location was perfect!

The studio is dated, like last update before my kid (in the navy now) was born. Some of the light switches etc were questionable at best. But, for the price, hard to beat. Pool was great, beach access easy and convient, resturaunt on site was good while service was a little slow. Overall, well worth the price. I did not like the bar top in place of a desk, since I was in town for work, but understand this is not a businesses rental 🙂 would definitely stay again. The patio does overlook the ocean (and the main entry and parking lot.

We had an amazing stay. You get exactly what you pay for with this property. The unit doesn't appear to have been updated cosmetically (and in some cases functionally) since the late 90s, but I don't know what people would expect for this extremely affordable list price. You are steps from the ocean; the unit offers a view from the balcony. The restaurant on-site is wonderful- delicious food, totally affordable. My kids loved the pool and hot tubs. We didn't utilize the tennis or basketball courts or fitness center but they looked great too. We purchased our own beach towels (not provided) from the Circle K gas station right down the street- 0.5 miles. The beach bar makes delicious alcoholic and virgin options. Would definitely stay again. Delicious coffee place about 0.6 miles away. Outlet malls are a $6 uber ride away for a rainy day.

Minus the ac not working the second night, this place was fantastic! Beach access and the beach bar! Lsi was very nice and very responsive to messages! We brought our big sand wagon, but there was no ramp from the resort to the beach. Other than that, we had a great stay! Friendly environment and wonderful staff! Will definitely recommend Lsi to others!

The location is absolutely perfect. The room resembled the pictures, but there were a lot of issues that could be taken care of with a handyman and a couple of hours. we stayed for a week and couldn't use drawers due to pieces and part of the room being stored vs. throw away. There were blinds in drawers and a broken balcony door handle and old light bulbs in another drawer. Our AC quit working one afternoon, and it took requesting a refund through Airbnb for them to take action. The check-in process is a little different than I am used too, you have to go by the front desk and check in like it's a hotel. I enjoyed the location, but I don't think we would stay in this property or with LSI again.

Pros:
-Firm but comfy bed
-LOCATION
-Partial Oceanview was nice
-unit on the same floor as beach walkover, restaurant, pool, sports court.
-large staircase to 1st floor. Easy to avoid crowded elevators.

Cons:
LSI slow response
AC needs replacing
Repairs needed all over unit

I really enjoyed my stay here! It was much more spacious than I expected and clean. One of the best aspects of this resorts is that it has a bridge connecting the resort to the beach, so you can cross over the street, which is an added bonus. I also loved the small patio and table at this space; it was so nice to sit outside there when I didn’t want to leave the room. I wish they provided some more cleaning supplies, because there are no sponges to wash dishes which would’ve been useful. I also don’t necessarily recommend staying at this location unless you have a car; you can definitely walk to some restaurants and shops but overall, it’s easier to explore and eat if you can drive.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would use again.

Pros:

Clean private beach, semi-ocean view balcony, on-site restaurant/spa/gym/swimming pool/hot tub on-site, beach bar available, free garage parking, bonfire on the beach some nights, coffee maker/microwave/toaster oven/refrigerator, friendly staff, good communication with the owner, close enough to: restaurants, grocery, convenience, and liquor store.

Cons:

Beach rental umbrellas and chairs are not included ($45/day) and Condo needs some repairs: light bulb replacement, paint, closet doors were off hinges, patio blinds wouldn’t open all the way, some minor mold around are vent.

Recommendations:

Bring coffee for the coffee maker, bring chairs and umbrella if you don’t want that added expense for the rentals, one of the light switches controls the power for the TV so if it is off the TV and related equipment seems like it won’t work, but it does… just flip the associated light switch.

Entry, closet to the right doors off track just laying in closet.

Wallpaper peeling off several places in room.

Futon nasty!!!(stains)

Mold growing on the ceiling near vents.

Had to pay for chairs on the beach.

Couldn’t get change to wash clothes, had to go find a car wash to get quarters. Then only # 2 dryer worked.

3 wash clothes to last 2 people 9 days . ( 1 wash cloth and 1 hand towel were dirty, looked like make up was on them)

Some Random guy shows up with soap wash clothes, paper towels, toilet paper, said I requested them… I didn’t request

anything!

We don’t mind paying for a nice place to stay!

If your going to stay at Surfside Resort Miramar Fl, we recommend going through vacassa NOT LSI.

AC did not work the first 2 days. The picture shows the balcony over looking the beach. That was not the case. Sand on the floor. Mattress was was sunk in the middle. We requested 3 wrist bands and only got two. LSI said someone would be out the next morning to bring us more. That never happened. We made the best of the trip but the sleeping the first 2 nights was not fun.

The location was great and the room was very clean. The sliding door was messed up (hard to open) and tape over the latch. We never complained or notified anyone about it. We never were told someone would be coming to half way fix it (they did not fix the latch part of the door, it was left with an open that would not lock). We were very disappointed that men were in our room without our permission. My wife's purse and my wallet were laying out. What if we would have been sleeping undressed in the bed or come out of the bathroom with out clothes on. This is unacceptable. We received no communication about this.

This is a condo rental in a great location. The pictures do accurately reflect what you will be renting except for the balcony. I will say that if you want to use the balcony, someone really strong has to open and close the door. It cannot be easily, nor luxuriously enjoyed. The time we did move the door to go out, we enjoyed it. The view is fine and you can even hear the ocean.

You need to bring everything for the bathroom except a hairdryer and towels. Same for the kitchenette area. The sofa bed sleeps ok. My two teenage boys made do. Perhaps this is best suited for small children. The king bed was great. TV worked nicely as well as the toaster oven and mini fridge.

Several amenities are not listed...Resort activities are available...Had we known this we could have attended a beach bonfire on Monday. Just ask lots of questions about what all is available when you arrive on site.
We did enjoy the pool and hot tub area. We also enjoyed our meal from the restaurant that is on site.
We always had plenty of parking and the garage is well lit. Security personnel were visible and available.
We had an issue with the blue security wrist bands . LSI did respond immediately but the bands were not delivered until the next morning. The onsite management company came to our rescue until ours arrived.
Lsi hopefully will be adding some hospitality touches...I am use to Airbnb with high attention to details. This isn't a bad rental just lacks that magical touch!

The room was exactly what was shown. Easy walk to the beach from the sky bridge. There were cockroaches and didn’t get compensation for that. As soon as we checked in we looked around and noticed that the outside door was broken and took a lot of force to open. Tried to get in contact with the owner and never received a text or a call back after perfect communication before check in. Overall you should find a different place to stay at and a different person to give your money to. LSI does not care about your well-being and your safety/pleasure and is only interested in your money.
